This is a stunning ornate Tridentine Latin Mass Altar Card that would have been centrally placed on the altar during the Mass for the most important part of the consecration. The frame is solid brass metal with beautiful high relief decorative corners. The altar card lists the consecration prayers in the language of Latin and has been beautifully ornamented with script lettering, scroll borders and a large central illustration. Stamped "Mason Bouasse-Lebel" Paris in lower left corner. Measures 24.75 inches wide, 17.5 inches high and 1 inch deep. Weighs a hefty 15 pounds. The card is framed under glass.
