Awesome Huge Neoclassical Style Silverplate Antique Baseball Trophy Cup New Haven, CT

$875.00
This is an incredible substantial YMCA baseball league trophy dating to 1922 in New Haven, Connecticut. Produced by quality maker Wallace, this piece has a neoclassical Grecian design. The urn shape is adorned at the top with laurel wreathes and floral designs. The shape is distinct and highly decorative. The lid has an ornate topper and is removable.

Measures 18 inches high to top of finial, 13 inches wide handle to handle and it is 8 inches deep at top.

Good condition with beautiful untouched dark aged patina, this will not polish up. There are some signs of wear and light dents to body and top lid, denting to the rim of the top of the cup portion but nothing of note that overly distracts from the presentation. Please review photos for further assessment.

An incredible and rare trophy design with eye catching appeal that will look great displayed on a table or shelf. Other items in photos are for display purposes and not included. Check out our other antique listings.
